Employee Testimonial
We have invited a number of staff to share their experiences working within our Trust.

I originally joined the Trust in 2015 when I applied for an NQT position. I was attracted to the school when I went for a walk-around and was made to feel welcome by all staff. Working within our Trust offers great opportunities for development and progression within your career. After four years at Hillsgrove, I moved across to St Paul’s Cray in the role of Phase Leader and was appointed Assistant Head Teacher in 2022. Working within a school setting is always challenging as no two days are the same but working within a supportive community where you feel valued makes the challenge a little easier.

I have been lucky enough to have worked at Old Bexley CE Primary School for the past 15 years. During this time, the school has become part of the Amadeus Multi Academy Trust, yet manages to retain its individuality and charm of being a school in the heart of Bexley Village. The Trust uses its extensive knowledge of the needs and cultures of the local community to guide our schools and care for our pupils, staff and families.
The Amadeus Trust is constantly evolving, supporting staff by using current research to innovatively guide and improve our processes and adapt our teaching so our schools achieve high standards of teaching and our pupils flourish.
As a Trust, the continual professional development of its staff is of the utmost importance. There are plentiful opportunities for school leaders and teachers to work collaboratively across the Trust schools, broadening and combining knowledge and planning abilities to work on challenges and solutions together. Creativity and risk taking is encouraged and aspirations are high, ensuring its schools, staff and pupils thrive.
My personal career and development opportunities have been regularly discussed and planned for through the Trust’s effective Performance Management system. I started at Old Bexley CE as a Key Stage 1 Manager, moving quickly to an Assistant Head Teacher and then became one of two Deputy Head Teachers. I am now about to take the exciting new steps of Acting Principal at St. Paulinus CE Primary School.
